Use bold colors of tempera paint mixed with liquid starch to finger-paint desins on white paper. When the paintings are dry, cut them into " monster" shapes, add details with black marker and glue on large, wiggly eyes. Glue the finished monsters onto plain paper, and combine the pages into a monster color book. Add a story following the pattern in the book or think of another pattern.
