This flip book consists of two sets of verses placed back to back and upside down in relation to one another. The rhymes describe many kinds of hugs and kisses that parents and grandparents give children, such as "Lost and then found hugs./Granny's all around hugs." The bright and cheerful color illustrations are child-centered and dynamic, and portray various ethnicities. While this title seems best suited to young preschoolers, one or two of the concepts--for example, loose teeth and losing at team sports--suggest an older audience.
